Our client followed a change in strategy to help reduce costs via offshore accommodation, jack up barge hire and helicopter flights – to help assist this goal Bibby WaveMaster 1 worked as a traditional Platform Supply Vessel.
Total is a well-known producer and distributer of oil, gas and electricity, we worked with one of their Dutch subsidiaries to deliver crew transportation for the oil and gas project in EL Pistolet Field (21 gas platforms). Work started in April 2018 with 180 days per annum as part of a 4 year framework.
The WaveMaster completed circa 5 connections per day, ran 24hr operations with extensive crane use and helicopters were active for crew change. In our performance review Total scored us 3’s across the board for our Quality, Systems and Management, this is the highest score achievable and rarely awarded.
