Bibby Marine is pleased to announce Bibby Progress and Bibby Renaissance have been chartered via Slaapschepen, to the Dutch Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA).
The two vessels arrived in the Netherlands on Saturday, 6 October and will expand the existing vessel-based accommodation solutions, which includes cruise vessels and other maritime assets, to house asylum seekers in the country. The vessels will eventually be berthed in the municipality of Zaanstad, with guests expected onboard later this year.

Bibby Progress and Bibby Renaissance offer a practical, safe, and comfortable accommodation solution for individuals or families in need of temporary accommodation.
“Bibby Marine has been offering floating accommodation for nearly 50 years. Accommodation barges are a cost effective, flexible solution for a variety of accommodation needs and we will work alongside the charterer and other delivery partners to ensure those staying onboard are provided with a quality, comfortable and safe place to stay.”
