Based on the successes of the Bibby WaveMaster 1, Bibby Marine Services secured a long-term charter with Siemens Gamesa and EnBW for a second SOV. The Bibby WaveMaster Horizon, like her sister, uses a Damen ASV9020 hull, but has been optimised for the operations and maintenance of Hohe See and Albatross windfarms.
The vessel has a capacity of 60PAX (all single cabins), and can stay out in the field for up to 28 days. The WaveMaster Horizon offers safety, efficiency and comfort combined with flawless design. Technicians benefit from an enhanced stepless workflow on board, making the route from cabin, to warehouse, to gangway, to turbine as safe and efficient as possible. This second WaveMaster vessel adds a 2t capacity 3D motion-compensated crane to its deck, as well as a revised warehouse layout and a larger two-floor gym.
Personnel can relax as if on land on this comfort class 2 rated vessel, with multiple dayrooms, TVs, games console, WiFi, and gym on board.
